The intake manifold solves several challenges in integrating an open air filter. Thanks to the necessary integration of the oil recirculation, you can register the open air filters. In addition, the entire intake system is firmly stabilised on a solid mounting system.
Details:
Integrated casing ventilation for registration of open air filters
High-quality stainless steel for durability
Support for stabilisation of the intake passage
Vibration dampened assembly
Assembly:
If you have already cleared your frame triangle, the assembly can be performed in the blink of an eye.
For the SR500 2J4, the original rubber connector is used to attach the intake manifold. The old oil pipe is easily dismantled and the supplied stainless steel braided pipe is connected to the engine and the intake manifold. Finally, the intake manifold is attached to the frame with the support and the supplied screws.
For the SR500 48T, the assembly is performed just as quickly. In this model, Yamaha has connected the air filter box directly to the carburettor. Therefore, an additional rubber connector is required. You can order it with all mounting components. This rubber connector is also recommended for the 2J4 if the original component is already porous or worn.
