For the assembly of a Parts Side Mount on a Harley Davidson Sportster, you need a special Spacer.

It may happen on some Sportster that you then need a longer bolt to mount the Side Mount with a spacer for the lower shock absorber.

This 1/2 UNC socket screw is 3 inches (76 mm) long and is Grade 8 and is therefore extremely suitable. If this 1/2 UNC x 3 inch Allen screw is too short, we also have a 1/2 UNC x 3.5 inches (89 mm) socket screw.
