- A remarkably small digital motorcycle instrument is the motoscope tiny.
- In the world of instruments, there is nothing like the LED display we developed for the motoscope mini. A display surface that is virtually rimless, incredibly readable, and entirely dedicated to the display of readings is made possible by 251 incredibly bright LEDs. This complex and cutting-edge technology combines a large display surface with a small casing.
- Every bike, trike, or four-wheel vehicle can match the motoscope mini's simple, attractive form and high-class appearance. With the small, anything is possible! Exposed mounting can enhance style and appearance, but it might as well be fitted more covertly and 'cleanly'.
Casing:
- The premium aluminium casing is made of solid metal and has a black anodized finish. The version with the mirror polish has its own allure. Electronics are completely built-in and resistant to vibrations, weather, water, and other elements.
Display and features:
- The cutting-edge, extraordinarily bright 251-LED dot matrix displays all other features as easily readable numeric numbers and the engine speed as a scalable horizontal bargraph. The engine speed can also be shown as a numerical value (rpm) by pressing a button.
- The LED luminosity varies automatically for the best visibility in low light, bright light, and dawn conditions.
- The display can be programmed to show the maximum allowable engine speed (the "red zone") or a gear shift light with all LEDs flashing simultaneously at the same time.
- The surprise: The Motoscope Mini's display shows numerical values both from top to bottom and from left to right. The instrument can therefore also be positioned vertically!
Operation:
- By pressing the provided menu push-button or, for example, the headlight flasher push-button on the handle bar, you can switch between the various informations on the LED display.
- The speed value is displayed by default on the display. Push-button operation can be used to display additional values if necessary. There is a feature for either keeping the manually entered value on the display or switching back to the speed value after a set amount of time.
- Of course, default settings or recorded values are kept even when the power source is turned off.
Mounting:
- The motoscope tiny can be mounted almost anywhere on any vehicle thanks to its small size.
- This instrument can be mounted simply on your triple clamp or directly onto the handlebar, embedded into already existing instrument panels, into the tank, or into the FBE.
- We provide both generic mounts and brand-specific solutions, such as those for Harley-Davidson or Buell motorcycles. Inquire about "Mounting" please.
Connection and sensors:
- Even users without any prior knowledge of operating the vehicle's electrical system can connect this instrument thanks to the hassle-free wiring and the comprehensive installation and operating instructions.
- The stainless steel speedometer sensor that is included is quite small (M5/25 mm). It is simply connected to the front or rear wheel using the 1.5 m connector cable. This makes it simple to convert speedometer drives that were initially mechanical.
- The proximity and reed contact original speedometer sensors used by motorcycle manufacturers are all compatible with the motoscope small. In these situations, installing mechanical sensors will be wholly unnecessary; only the terminals need to be attached.
- Even in cars that include sensors in the gear box, a sophisticated "teaching" function makes it simple to calibrate the speedometer.
