We decided to build a button-controlled 2-channel switching relay again because the modules currently on the market are a bit weak in terms of performance or their dimensions do not fit into the handlebars. The Touch 2 Switch has 2 switching channels, each of which can be loaded with 70 watts. The size of this load relay fits in every lamp or in almost every steel handlebar. This allows you to switch various consumers, such as lights, ignition on or off with a button. It doesn't matter whether the button switches to ground or to plus. The module offers both options with 2 inputs each.
In addition, the Touch 2 Switch can also be used as a minus-controlled switching relay. For this purpose, the inputs of channel 2 are permanently clamped against plus and minus. Now the module is a normal switching relay the next time it is switched on and can be used, for example, for internal switching in an LED headlight between parking lights and daytime running lights.
Benefits:
- Often only 1-2 switching channels are required, which makes the use of more expensive control boxes unnecessary.
- The module has 4 inputs for momentary pushbutton switches, 2 each to ground and 2 to plus.
- Very thin control cables can be routed to the buttons.
- Two independent channels are installed in the module. These can also be clamped together to
to increase the maximum power up to 120 watts.
- The small dimensions allow installation in most handlebars.
- The circuit is injected waterproof.
- The module can also work as a voltage inverter.
- The module can also be configured as a normal 2-channel changeover relay.
