In May 2017, the brand new technical center of Royal Enfield was inaugurated in Leicester, England, marking the return of the legendary name in Old Albion after almost 50 years! Its modern facilities have the latest technology, while the motorcycle frames are designed in collaboration with Harris Performance, which has now also become Eichers’ property since 2015.
The most recent “children” of this massive factory progress, are the dual-cylinder Interceptor and Continental GT models, with the 648cc air-cooled engine and a single overhead camshaft.
For the Royal Enfield Interceptor C.racer tried to build parts that wouldn’t change the classic character, but only add a small touch to make it more scrambler look oriented. Those are bolt on parts so there is no need for conversions for their installation, and according to the owner’s preference, they could easily be restored to their original form. The good thing is that both the two different C-RACERS sets can be mounted on both types of motorcycles, so a Royal Enfield Interceptor owner or/and a Royal Enfield Continental GT owner can transform it into either a Café Racer or a Scrambler bike.
