The Kellermann chain tool KTW 2.5 is the enhanced version of the KTW 2.0.

The worn chain may be removed with ease, and the replacement chain can be precisely assembled with hollow rivets so that the swingarm can remain in place. The instrument is made for chains of all brands (such as DID, Regina, RK, etc.). Two arbours for various diameters are now included with the tool. The built-in arbour is now more durable and compatible with both 5xx and 6xx chains. The extra arbour works particularly well with 4xx chains. Only a 19mm ring or socket wrench is needed for use in addition.

A proprietary, magnetic positioning tool for the connecting link assembly is included with the chain tool, ensuring quick and flawless attachment of the connecting link's side plate. The positioning device is made up of two magnetic plates connected by a guide. The components of the connecting link can be positioned precisely and comfortably thanks to this design. You enjoy hands free operation thanks to the magnetic attachment of the plates to the connecting link. It's essential to avoid pushing the side plate onto the pins too far when assembling the connecting connection.

The plates serve as a limit stop and extend to the adjacent chain links in order to effectively prohibit this. If the side plate of the connecting link is in the proper position and you need to stop pushing it, you can see it with your unaided eye through the cut-outs in the push plate.

As a result, connecting link assembly mistakes are virtually eliminated, and the process is no longer tedious or stressful.

Using our extension set, this chain tool can handle entire rivet locks. Practical Handling: Simply align the pin punch's guide with the attached rivet head moulder guide to replace it. By what its useful, push the rivet head into the guideway. The pin punch transfers the force to the rivet head. Further, it has 5-year manufacturer's warranty since 2022 which makes it more preferable. All products are ECE approved and can be installed directly without additional approval.
